Description

We are delighted to invite you to bring a group of your students along to a Primary Panathlon Competition. Panathlon is a Multi-Sport activity event for young SEND pupils. The event is being run as part of the Project Ability in Central London by Southfields Academy & Linden Lodge School.

The festival will consist of 8 adapted activities designed to include a wide range of SEND students. These will involve:

•              Boccia Ball Blast               (Boccia Game)

•              New Age Kurling Spin    (Kurling Target & Skittles Game)

•              Target Cricket                    (Table Cricket Game)

•              Volleybat                            (Polybat Game)

•              Messi Football Skills      (Football Game)

•              Precision Bean Bag         (Athletics Target Game)

•              Flight Path                          (Javelin / Shot Put Game)

•              Lily Pad Jump                    (Jumping Game)

•              Parachute Popcorn         (Agility Game)

Schools are invited to bring along teams of 8 players from Key Stage 2 to the event. There will be a mixture of mainstream schools and local special schools involved in the event which is designed to offer opportunity for their SEND pupils the opportunity to represent the school in a sporting event.
