Wandsworth SSP have held three Netball tournaments at Burntwood school over 3 consecutive Tuesdays in November.
We kicked off with a Y9 & 10 tournament in which we had five teams from four schools. Burntwood finished fifth, St Cecilia's B finished fourth, St Cecilia's A were in third, Ashcroft claimed silver medals in second and Graveney were crowned Netball champions 2009 having won all four of their games.
The Year 7's were up next! Fours teams from three schools played on a very cold afternoon. Southfields took fourth place, St Cecilia's claimed third place with the two teams from Graveney taking the top two spots, the B team taking silver, and the A team claiming gold.
The Year 8's finished the run of tournaments having the extra challenge of very windy conditions. Burntwood finished in fourth place, Southfields in third, Graveney took silver medals, and St Cecilia's finished on top with gold.
A great but cold run of tournaments with some exciting play. Thanks to Burntwood for hosting these tournaments.
