Kate Hoey MP, the Mayor's Commissioner for Sport in London, came to Southfields Community College , to witness the Central London Panathlon Challenge Final on 26th February 2010.
Teams from Camden, Lambeth, Wandsworth and Westminster battled it out in adapted sports such as table cricket, Boccia, polybat, athletics and New Age Kurling to become champions of Central London.
The team from Lambeth eventually won the event, with the host team from Wandsworth finishing in second place. They will now go on to represent Central London in the all London Panathlon Final in June.

On Wednesday 9 May 2012 the UK's best young athletes competed in the new Olympic Stadium, raced around the Velodrome and swam at the Aquatics Centre as the Olympic Park hosted the final day of the Sainsbury's 2012 School Games.
