Wandsworth Team miss out on final

Despite some fantastic individual and team performances, the Wandsworth Panathlon Squad narrowly missed out by coming second in the Central London Panathlon Competition.

The Wandsworth Team represented for the first time by four special schools including Oak Lodge, Linden Lodge, Paddock and Greenmead put on a great performance in front of Paralympic Gold Medal Swimmer, Liz Johnson and Kate Hoey MP.

However, they just missed out to a strong team from Lambeth who will go on to the London Final in June.

The Wandsworth SSP would like to thank Ashley Iceton from London Panathlon and his team for organising this fantastic event and to Liz & kate for cheering the competitors on

We would also like to make a special mention to Joe Zindani for doing a great job in coaching the Wandsworth Team in prepearation for the finals.
