Battersea Multi-Sport Festival
On Monday 5th July, four primary schools attended the Battersea Park Astro pitches, to take part in a Multi-Sport event involving a range of activities such as Tag Rugby, Golf, Athletics, Hockey and Kwik Cricket.
PDM Nick Miller, SSCo Ashley Montgomery and Assistant PDM Jenna Luiten coordinated the event, with fifteen sports leaders from Salesian College running the stations and events for the primary students. Although a warm day, the students braved the conditions and enthusiastically put in their all on each and every station.
Thank you to all the staff and students from Wix, St George’s, Westbridge and Chesterton primary schools for attending the event. In addition, thank you to PE teacher Andy Lane from Salesian College for accompanying his students down and assisting on event stations. Finally, thank you to Mick from Battersea Park Astro pitches for use of his fantastic facilities.
