On 24th November, 97 Y1 & 2 pupils visited South Thames College for a Multi-skills festival. Pupils from Allfarthing, St Anne's, St Faith's and Swaffield took part in ten different activities that encourage the development of agility, balance and co-ordination skills.
The children also developed their communication and team work skills as they worked with children from other schools. As well as promoting the development of fundamental skills, we aim to make the physical activity fun. I think you'll agree, the photo says it all!
Leah Evans from Allfarthing said 'The Year 2s had a great time and haven't stopped telling me about it today!! The teacher was very impressed with the how little she had to do in terms of organising kids!'.
Thank you to Tai, our Further Education Sports Coordinator at South Thames College for organising the festival.
