Silver for Wandsworth Panathlon squad
Wandsworth Panathlon Squad came second in the Central London Finals with fantastic performances in boccia, athletics, polybat, table cricket, new age kurling and football. Despite these successes the team narrowly missed out on a place in the London Panathlon Final behind a strong Camden team.
Students from Linden Lodge, Oak Lodge, Greenmead, Paddock primary and secondary schools made up the biggest Wandsworth Panathlon squad to enter the excellent event.
Tim Richmond,Team manager said, "It was a ripping performance by the whole squad and we only missed out by a few points at the end".
Nick Miller SGO said "The Panathlon is a brilliant event and all our students had a fabulous time competing. Good luck to Camden in the final"
