Belleville'a tennis squad served up a fantastic day of tennis at the Wandsworth Mini Red Tennis Competition at The National Tennis Centre on 31st May 2012.
13 teams of young budding tennis players competed on the tennis courts normally graced by Andy Murray and Laura Robson. Belleville, were joined by students from Earlsfield, St Joseph's, Penwortham, Parkgate, Eaton House, Thomas's Clapham & Roehampton Church.
The matches were umpired by sports leaders from Graveney School and Roehampton University at an event supported by Judith Bunn from Surrey Lawn Tennis Association.
After a day of high quality tennis, Belleville and Ealsfield won through to meet each other in the final. Earlsfield, who were reigning Wandsworth Champions fought gainfully to retain their crown, but in a very close final were beaten by an excellent Belleville team.
Belleville will now go on to represent Wandsworth in the London School Games final at Crystal Palace.
