Ravenstone win Wandsworth Quadkids 2013
Ravenstone put on a great display of athletics to win the Wandsworth Quadkids athletics event at Tooting Bec Athletics Track on 4th June 2013.
In an event entered by 13 primary schools including Earlsfield, Trinity St Mary's, Fircroft, Penwortham,Sacred Heart Battersea, Sellincourt, Albermarle, & St Joseph's, Ronald Ross, Gatton, Holy Ghost, Ravenstone and Sacred Heart Roehampton, each athlete competed in 4 disciplines; Long Jump, Throw, Sprint and 600m run, accumulating points for their school.
The event was run with help from Mr Kerins from Southfields and Ben Noad from Quadkids, and support from sports leaders from Battersea Park and Burntwood schools who also officiated at the event.
After a great day of athletics, Ravenstone came first with Sellincourt picking up the silver medals and Penwortham the bronze medals.
