Brandlehow crowned Tag Rugby Champions

Brandlehow won a thrilling Tag Rugby Final against Honeywell at Southfields Academy on Friday night, booking their place in the London School Games Final.

The finalists had qualified for the Wandsworth Grand Final by each winning their respective qualifying competitions. Brandlehow were victorious in the Putney competition  beating Our Lady of Victories in the final. While Honeywell edged through in an extremely close final match against Penwortham in King George's Park.

In total, a record number of 33 teams, (22 schools) took part in the competition run as part of the School Games.

In addition to this certificates were awarded to teams and inviduals who demonstrated the School Games Value of Respect during the competitins.  Our Lady Queen of Heaven, Hillbrook, Griffin, St Boniface and Penwortham were all awarded for showing excellnt sporting behavior.

But in the end, Brandlehow were the outstanding team and we wish them luck in the London Finals.
