The strength of school sport in Wandsworth was evident for all to see as our schools put a great show in a wide range of events at the London School Games Spring and summer Finals. Wandsworth primary schools did fantastically well in the London finals with all 6 schools finishing in the top five positions out of a possible 32 London boroughs.

12th Holy Ghost - Quad Kids Athletics
17th St Mary’s - Basketball
17th Belleville – Tennis
20th Fircroft – Tri-Golf
Not to be outdone by their junior counterparts, a number of the secondary schools performed brilliantly at the School Games. Putney High & Ernest Bevin kept up Wandsworth's amazing record in the London Volleyball finals, with girls wining the gold medals and the boys from Bevin coming second.
Congratulations to Bolingbroke and Southfields Academy who competed in the London Handball Finals. Bolinbroke girls came third overall, while the boys from Southfields missed out on a bronze medal by a single goal. Bolingbroke Girls Rugby Team also put on a great show at the London Rugby finals.
Burntwood and Southfields performed admirably at the School Games Dance Finals coming 20th & 17th respectively. Garratt Park came 13th in the Para Tennis at the Westay, while Linden Lodge Boccia team won through to the Mini Boccia final at Crystal Palace.
Congatulations to Graveney KS 4 boys badminton team who won through to play in came 4th in the London School Games final.
