London School Games Spring Final 2017

Following up on last years fantastic performance by Wandsworth primary schools in the London School Games Spring finals was always going to prove difficult. Wiith all 6 schools finishing in the top five positions out of a possible 32 London boroughs was a hard act to follow.

But as you can see from the results below, the primary schools had mixed fortunes in this year's final.

There was a fantastic bronze medal in the Tag Rugby, where Northwood Schools won the majority of their matches and much admiration for their free flowing rugby from rugby league organisers. Ravenstone also performed excellently in a very competitive sportshall athletics competition finishing in 5th position.

Honeywell, The Roche, St Michael's also represented the borough of Wandsworth in great style and all had a fabulous day at the biggest schools competition in Europe.

In the secondary schools competitions, following on from the successs in the volleyball, Graveney boys came 5th in the badminton and Putney High 13th in Year 7 Netball.

Congratulations to everyone involved in representing Wandsworth at the finals.
