Key Steps Gymnastics 2017

The quality of the gymnastics in the Wandsworth Key Steps competition goes from strength to strength each year. This year 8 different schools won medals at the event held at at Southfields on 21st April 2017.

The event got off to fantastic start with Karina from Year 11 at Southfields Academy singing a great rendition of 'A whole new world' to the gymnasts from 46 teams involving 200 children taking part in the event,

As in previous years we ran four seperate competitions. These included Year 3/4 A & B competitions and Year 5/6 A&B competitions. The results are as follows:

Year 3/4 A    -  1st Belleville, 2nd Fircroft, 3rd Honeywell

Year 3/4 B    -  1st Our Lady Queen of Heaven, 2nd Honeywell, 3rd Riversdale

Year 5/6 A    -  1st Belleville, 2nd Honeywell, 3rd Sacred Heart Battersea

Well done to everyone who competed in the event and thank you to sports leaders from Putney High for their hard work and judging at the event.
