Wandsworth Strike Gold again at Volleyball!

Ernest Bevin College's Volleyball teams won gold again in the London School Games Volleyball Final 2018, maintaining Wandsworth great record in the event held at the University of East London Sportsdock.

By winning all 10  of their games, Ernest Bevin beat off the challenges from the rest of London schools to pick up the coverted titles of London Champions.

It's continiues a fantastic run of victories in volleyball, where Wandsworth schools have dominated the event. It is the sixth time in 7 years that Ernest Bevin have won gold in this event. 

The girls team from Putney High got off to a great start winning their first three matches, but were eliminated after losing a couple of games.

In addition, to the onfield excellence, 20 sports leaders from Graveney & South Thames College did a fantastic job officiating and refereeing all the matches on the day. The London Youth Games orhganises gave very high praise to the Wandsworth sports leaders who made up the LYG Games Force.

Congratulations to everyone involved in this amazing day for sport in Wandswsorth Schools.
