LYG Virtual Games Update 2020

Thanks to all the schools that have submitted entries to the London Youth Games for the Virtual School Games Challenges. You will be pleased to here that after weeks - Wandsworth remain at the top of the London Youth Games Virtual Games leaderboard.

In addition to this 15 schools submitted entries in to the LYG Cross Country event on 9th November. In total, 2333 young people from Wandsworth schools run the designated Cross Country Course. This was a fantastic acheivement. Well done to everyone involved in making this happen.

To help schools with planning for the next round of challenges please see the sports which will feature in next month's Virtual Games calendar:

Monday 16th November - Boccia

Monday 23rd November - NFL (American Football)

Friday 11th December - Sportshall Athletics deadline

The weekly challenge is released every Monday morning at 9.00am on the London Youth Games website & social media channels. Schools have until Friday at 12.00pm to complete the challenges & submit their scores.

We are asking as many Wandsworth schools to join #TeamWandsworth by taking up the challenges as the the winning Borough will be crowned the first ever LYG Virtual Games champions.
