Ravenstone are Quadkids Champions 2014
Ravenstone successfully defended their crown as the Wandsworth Quadkids athletics champions in the event at Tooting Bec Athletics Track on 3rd June 2014.
A record 18 primary schools entered the competition including Alderbrook, Broadwater, Earlsfield, Franciscan, Furzedown, Hillbrook, Honeywell, Penwortham, Ravenstone, Riversdale, Ronald Ross, Sacred Heart Roehampton, St Anne's, St Anselm's, St Boniface, St Joseph's, Sellincourt and Trinity St Mary's
Each each athlete competed in 4 disciplines; Long Jump, Throw, Sprint and 600m run, accumulating points for their school.
The event was run by Nick Miller ,SGO with support from Jake Waldron, the Urban Athletics Activator - Wandsworth and support from sports leaders from Battersea Park, Chestnut Grove and Esher College who officiated at the event.
After a great day of athletics, Ravenstone came out on top for the second year running. they will go on to represent Wandsworth in the London School Games Final at Crystal Palace. Furzedown came second, with Sellincourt picking up the bronze medals.
