Graveney & Putney High in more Badders Glory!
Having won the Wandsworth Level 2 Badminton Competitions, teams from Graveney and Putney High Schools went on to take on schools from other London boroughs in the Central London Badders final.
In the boys event, the Graveney KS4 team won the Central London event with a dramatic last game victory over a team from Islington. The KS3 team sailed through the competition but unfortunately came up against a strong team and so just missed out on qualifying for London final.
The girls was a similar story, with the KS4 team from Putney High dominating the competition and secruing their passge to the finals. However, the KS3 team won all their matches until they came up against the eventual winning team from Lambeth, who ended the Wandsworth hopes of another place in the final.
So the Graveney & Putney High KS4 teams will now go on to represent Wandsworth in the London School Games final at Crystal Palace on 28th March.
