The Roche retain their Netball Crown
32 teams competed in this year's Wandsworth Primary School Bee Netball Tournaments. The events were held over two days at Burntwood School. With the finlas being played at Southfields Academy on 8th March.
The Roche School kept up their great record with a victory in the Wandsworth Grand Final by beating Ibstock Place and became worthy champions.
On Wednesday 22nd February, pupils from 12 schools entering 16 teams into the Heat one at Burntwood School with Umpires from Wandsworth Netball Club officiating all matches with Sports Leaders from Burntwood helping to run the tournament.
Heat 2 was held on Wednesday 1st March, with a further 12 schools and 16 teams competing to see who would qualify for the grand final.
As mentioned earlier, The Roche ran out winners in the final and will go on to represent Wandsworth in the London School Games final on 23rd March.
