Honeywell at the Quicksticks double

25 teams from 15 primary schools competed in the annual Quicksticks Hockey competition at Southfields Academy. In total over 140 young people took part in matches refereed by coaches from Spencer Hockey Club and Roehampton University Hockey team.

Following the excting group stages we ended up with Allfarthing, Earlsfield, Honeywell, Ravenstone, Rutherford and Sheringdale reaching the knockout stages of the A Championship  In the B Cup competitions the semi Finalists were: schools, Allfarthing, Honeywell, Our Lady Queen of Heaven & Sheringdale schools.

Honeywell B ended up narrowly beating OLQH n the Cup competition, with Sheringdale finishing 3rd and Allfarthing in 4th place.

In the Championship final, Honeywell became the Wandsworth Champions by winning 1-0 against Allfarthing. Sheringdale picked up the bronze medal, with Ravenstone finisihing in 4th place.

We would all like to wishing Honeywell good luck in the London School Games final in March.
