The C2S scheme sees Cricket Clubs and Schools working together to bring Cricket to the Local Children. The Chance2Shine programmes are an integral part of ECB’s Strategic Plan to strengthen cricket within local communities and to increase participation among young people.
Surrey Cricket provide coaches through Chance2Shine and the School Sport Coaching programme. The coaches provide cricket sessions in Wandsworth schools.
Many schools have had the opportunity to work with Ebony Rainford-Brent, an England Womens squad member who has coached them through this programme.
Surrey Cricket also help run the Capital Kids Cricket league held at Southfields Community College for Primary school children.
